This journal was created to encourage a friend of mine, Erika Johnson. The sun icons were developed as a way to represent her radiance and constance as a friend. This project served as a way to empower a friend in who she is and help her feel confident in herself.
This project was created using a variety of research meth- ods. However, the main contributor to this project was the feedback I received from some of Erika’s closest friends on a questionnaire I sent them. Through talking with Erika and her friends, I was able to discover who Erika truly is and create this journal for her.
